When the Meeks family decided to modernize their historic Five Points home without sacrificing character, they called ACM Pros to handle the full exterior renovation. The original vinyl siding had faded and warped over time, leaving the home vulnerable to moisture and poor insulation.
Our team replaced the old material with a beautiful combination of Allura Shake and Allura Lap fiber cement siding, both engineered for Alabama’s heat, humidity, and seasonal storms. The result is a durable, timeless exterior that blends perfectly with the charm of the neighborhood — and has already turned heads on the block.

Scope of Work
ACM Pros removed the aging vinyl siding, inspected the wall sheathing for water damage, and made minor structural repairs before wrapping the home in a high-performance moisture barrier. The team then installed Allura’s fiber cement Shake siding on the gables for texture and visual appeal, and Allura Lap siding on the main elevations for clean, consistent lines.
During the project, we also discovered a minor roof leak above the porch area. Our roofing division repaired the leak and re-roofed the small porch section with matching shingles to ensure full weather protection.
Results
The finished project completely revitalized the home’s appearance while preserving its classic Five Points character. The Meeks family shared that several neighbors have already stopped by to compliment the transformation and ask who did the work.
